I found this on the steam forums, Im installing now.

We would like to let you know that the Casus Belli modification for Crysis Wars is now released!

Casus Belli is a multiplayer modification for Crysis Wars that is inspired by the Battlefield franchise. Set in a 'fictional' third world war setting, the developers state that the mod features more than 250 new assets (buildings, vehicles, objects, etc.), new maps, new weapons, new vehicles, new game modes, original music and more.

To download the mod, check out Casus Belli's official website - Release news post for a guided installation.

Play Casus Belli and share your impressions with the developers as they are usually online on the official server every evening and week-ends!

It also said if you don,t own Crysis Wars, you can download the demo and it still works

It seems okay, gives the option where we can create our own server like Iron Storm did. We should get a couple of guys together and try it. Not a lot of people playing it.

Well I got it downloaded onto the dedicated box yesterday but what a pain to set up. I still don't have it running and the site is definitely lacking in setup details not to mention configuration. We may be a little early on this, they need to do some more work.

I meant in the game options you can create a server, or join a game. You might be having problems because it has to go through the Desura client, or maybe cause the Mod creators are from France.

The dedicated server is available for both Crysis Wars and Casus Belli. It's a matter of which files get replaced/added/modified in order to get the dedicated server running and this is where their documentation is lacking. For soimeone who has set up Crsis Wars with any other mods it probably makes sense but to someone new to their configuration it's not clear.

I'll have another go at it later this evening. May as well make use of the machine while I still have it.

Was anyone else interested?

I said something to Ferret, Madcat, and a few others. I don't think they are interested so I wouldn't spend time on it, it would probably be just you and I.

Im ok with that. We could probably find a few people to join us since there don't seem to be a lot of servers according to some of the posts I read.
